The Optimum D320x920DPA is a high-quality lead and feed screw lathe with a digital position display DPA 2000 for all three axes. It is ideally suited for precise turning, facing, and threading work in metal. The machine is manufactured according to DIN 8606 (toolmaker's accuracy) and offers a runout accuracy of < 0.015 mm.
The heavily ribbed prism bed made of cast iron is inductively hardened and precision ground. The main spindle runs in an oil bath and is mounted with adjustable precision tapered roller bearings. The machine features a closed quick-change feed gearbox, right/left rotation, a removable bed bridge, and extensive accessories.
