Used original FARO vacuum mounting base for stable and temporary attachment of a FARO measuring arm to a granite measuring plate or a comparable smooth and airtight surface.
The solid vacuum plate allows the mounting of a measuring arm without permanent mechanical fastening or drilling into the granite plate.
The required vacuum is generated via the connected hand vacuum pump. An integrated manometer allows monitoring of the existing vacuum.
