A Mitutoyo digital measuring device (digital indicator) with an adjustable stand is mounted on the plate. The surface plate has a uniform slot grid and is labeled MGS 47 on a nameplate at the side edge. The digital measuring device is a Mitutoyo ID-C1050XB with a measuring range of 50.8 mm and a resolution of 0.01 mm, as well as a digital display with MODE, SET, and DATA/ON-OFF buttons. The measuring stand features a flexible joint holder for individual positioning of the indicator. The surface plate has a side height of approximately 5–6 cm, measured with a BMI tape measure.
